About the place
The Basilica of Santa Maria Della Salute is a stunning example of Baroque style located in the Dorsoduro quarter of Venice. It was erected to thank the Virgin Mary for sparing the megacity from a ruinous outbreak of the pest. The church was designed by mastermind Baldassare Longhena and took 56 times to be completed.
The church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it continues to be an important artistic and religious destination for locals and travelers.

The Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute is located in the Dorsoduro district. To reach the basilica, you can take a vaporetto (water bus) to the Salute stop, or take a gondola to the Zattere landing. You can also walk to the basilica from nearby locations such as St. Mark’s Square or the Rialto Bridge.

During 1 hour photo session you can start from the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and then go to Punta della Dogana: This triangular-shaped building was once used as a customs house and now is a contemporary art museum. It offers a unique architecture and a beautiful view of the city.

We can start from the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and then explore the Dorsoduro district, a charming area known for its narrow streets, picturesque canals. We will then walk along the Zattere, a promenade that runs along the southern edge of Dorsoduro and offers beautiful views of the city and the Giudecca island.

Usually, yes, but sometimes photographers have booked the rest of their day around the location you’ve already chosen so it may not be possible. We will always try our best to accommodate you. You should advice at least 24h after your booking.
Please text or email your photographer if you are delayed. If you arrive late, keep in mind your photographer may have another shoot booked right after, and it’s unlikely your shoot can be extended. We suggest arriving at least 15 mins early. Remember: traffic in big cities can be unpredictable.
If you arrive late for your session, any time that has passed from your original start time will be forfeited, and you may shoot for the remainder of the time you have booked.
If you want to keep going, and your photographer is free, you can pay the additional charge.
The photographer shoots many in RAW which are then carefully selected and processed. However, you can ask the photographer to add more photos.
Yes, you can gift a photo shoot and buy it for friends or relatives. Please contact us by email once you have purchased the photo shoot indicating the email of the recipient of the gift so that we can send a personalized message.
